My Place Playground Project – To design, fund, and install a Universal Design playground to be located onsite at the James City County/Williamsburg Recreation Center.

Class of 2007

PIPE (Providing Indoor Plumbing for Everyone) Project – Installed septic and water system, established PIPE Fund, and raised over $100,000 to provide indoor plumbing to Historic Triangle Families in need.

Rita Welsh Adult  Literacy Program Project - Provided expertise with space redesign, fundraising and overall organization.

Class of 2003

Housing Partnerships Project - Organizational audit including client record keeping, volunteer recruitment and retention, marketing, and fundraising.

Class of 2001

Virginia Emergency Families for Children Project - Created awareness and recruited  families to take in children needing short term foster homes.

Class of 1999

Stay Up While You’re Out Project - Assisted Community Action Agency with processes, procedures and location for kids suspended from school.

Class of 1997

Volunteer Database Project - Organized volunteer fair to match interests with community needs.

The United Way Volunteer Center now uses the database.

Class of 1995

Youth Leadership and Awareness Project - Mentored middle school students and hosted a youth conference on community involvement.
